About Us
Pastor Marc and his wife Minister Jerica are the leaders of Amazing Life Church, and have been since inception in January 2014. They were called to this work after serving for years under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus Zelma Dickerson, Pastor Marc's mother and Jerica's long time mentor. Pastor Marc has a rich history in music and arts, leadership, mentorship and community engagement, and is passionate about helping others discover their purpose. He and Jerica are committed to loving God, loving people, and sharing the love of Jesus with the city, their community and the world in a real and relevant way. They've been happily married since 2004, and are the proud parents of two beautiful children; Jurnee and Jemari.

To create ministries, policies and procedures that focus on building healthy people, communities and churches.
To promote personal and spiritual growth through education, engagement, and enlightenment.
Our Pillars:
WE PLACE HIGH VALUE ON:
STRONG FAMILIES: We believe that growth is a sign of life, and spiritual growth is essential to live an amazing life. We strive to help build strong individuals, that build strong marriages and families, that builds strong communities, strong cities, and beyond.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: We believe that real change happens in the context of safety and community. We desire to foster a community of love, acceptance, repentance, spiritual growth and development; all in the presence of God.
UNITY: We celebrate uniqueness and diversity, and we vigilantly protect the unity of the faith, the integrity of others, and the vision of the ministry at all times.
CREATIVITY: God gave us his best in Jesus, so we strive to present HIM with our best in all that we do. We do the best we can with what we have.
GENEROSITY : We know that all we have comes from God, so all we have belongs to God. We believe in giving generously of our time, talent and treasures to expand God’s work on earth.
WHAT WE BELIEVE:
GOD
We believe there is only one true God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that He is loving and does not desire anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance and have abundant life, both in the life now and to come.
JESUS CHRIST
We Believe that Jesus Christ was begotten, not created, the Son of God, truly God, truly Man, coequal with God. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and offered himself a living sacrifice for the sins of the world by dying on the cross. He was resurrected to demonstrate His power over sin and death, ascended to heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every Christ-follower. He helps to conform us to the example Jesus Christ set with guidance in doing what is right, understanding the truth, and the power to live rightly. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that it can be a separate experience apart from salvation and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the decision to be baptized is up to the individual and that he or she must fully understand what it means to be a Christ follower.
THE CHURCH
We believe the church is the Body of Christ, the dwelling of God through the Spirit, the possessor of God’s authority to communicate truth and salvation to the world, and the Bride of Christ for which he will return. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. The presence of the Holy Spirit, adherence to the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship of the believers, preaching of the Word of truth, and administration of the sacraments are signs of the authentic church.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible to be the authoritative, infallible word of God, written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit, canonized by the church and given to God’s people as a source of truth, instruction, and wisdom.
SALVATION
We believe that the gift of God is salvation, and to take part in it we must accept that gift. Forgiveness of sin cannot be achieved by good works or self-improvement but is only available by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When a person confesses sin and repents in faith, they experience a spiritual rebirth and are given everlasting life. God’s Word assures individuals that He will continue His saving work in them forever.
FIVE – FOLD MINISTRY
The five-fold ministry positions of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are gifts given to each local church and the universal church. These gifts are for the equipping of believers to spread the gospel of Christ.
ETERNITY
We believe there is life after physical death, and that we will be held accountable and judged by God; and that we will exist eternally with Him through our forgiveness and salvation, or will be separated from Him because of our sin. Heaven is an eternal joining with God, while Hell is to be eternally separated from Him. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.
